SECONDARY PRINCIPAL

The Mid-Buchanan R-V School District is accepting applications for the position of Secondary School Principal, grades 7-12, beginning in the 2023-24 school year.  The successful applicant must exhibit a focus on the development of positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and community to ensure a quality school culture.  A deep understanding of evaluating and providing meaningful and timely feedback to increase the instructional capacity of staff is vital to this position.  The successful candidate is expected to exhibit and model a growth mindset to successfully motivate students and staff.  Designing and facilitating high quality professional development for staff, aligned to the district’s mission and CSIP goals, will also be paramount.  The secondary principal will be responsible for the overall operations of the JH/HS building.  The position is an 11-month contract.  Salary will be commensurate to experience.  A completed application packet must include: Letter of application directed to Jay Albright, Superintendent; completed job application which can be accessed on the district’s website at www.midbuchanan.k12.mo.us under the ‘Departments’ drop-down menu; evidence of a Missouri Administrative Certificate; copy of all transcripts; and no less than two letters of recommendation.  The position is considered open until filled.  Questions regarding this position should be directed to Jay Albright, Superintendent, by calling 816-238-1646 or by email to [email protected].  Mid-Buchanan R-V is an equal opportunity employer.

ELEMENTARY PARAPROFESSIONAL

The Mid Buchanan R-V School District is accepting applications for an Elementary Special Education Paraprofessional Level II.  This is a nine-month position with full time benefits. The successful applicant should have 60 college credit hours, or have a sub certificate or paraprofessional assessment passed as well as complete and pass a background check prior to employment.
