Custodian

The Mid-Buchanan R-V School District is currently accepting applications for a full time custodian. Starting hourly wage is $14.50 per hour. This position provides full benefits, including dental and basic life insurance coverage. During the regular school term, hours are 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Monday through Friday. Summer hours are 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, after summer school.  The Mid-Buchanan R-V School District is an equal opportunity employer. Sped Teacher

Mid-Buchanan School District is currently seeking a passionate and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, tailoring instruction to meet individualized education plans (IEPs), and collaborating with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure the academic and social development of each student.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.

  • Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse learning styles and needs of students.

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.

  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods, materials, and resources to accommodate different learning styles.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes social and emotional growth.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and participation.

  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders.

Qualifications are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.

  • Missouri Teaching Certification in Special Education.

  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.

  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individualized student needs.

  • Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Health Insurance:  $510.10 per month; 
Dental Insurance:  $27.10 per month
