LPN/School Nurse
The Mid-Buchanan R-V School District is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and professional Licensed Practical Nurse to support the school nurse in providing care for students and promoting a healthy, safe school environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with the school nurse to address the physical and emotional needs of students, provide basic first aid, assist with health screenings, and maintain health records.

Currently licensed in the State of Missouri as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Knowledge of basic first aid, medical terminology, immunization schedules and child development.

Parents as Teachers Educator
The Mid-Buchanan R-V School District is currently accepting applications for a full time Parents as Teacher Educator. The prospective Parent Educator will support families expecting a child or who have a child under the age of Kindergarten entry with personal visits, developmental screenings, group connections and a network of resources for the community. As well as other duties assigned by the Special Services Director. This position is a full time position, with full benefits.
Applicants must have:
Certification and/or a four (4) year bachelor’s degree in either early childhood, social work, health, psychology, or a related field and demonstrated ability in working with young children and their parents;
A two (2) year associate degree or two (2) - year certificate program in
Early Childhood education, child development, or nursing and demonstrated ability in working with young children and their parents;
Sixty (60) semester hours or more of credit from an academic degree granting institution, which is contained within the United States Department of Education’s Directory of Postsecondary Institutions and two (2)- years of successful experience in a program working with young children and their Parents
or- Five(5)-years of successful experience in a program working with young children and their parents as approved by DESE and a high school diploma or equivalent. Individuals that qualify for training under this specific criterion may be required to complete additional training at the discretion of DESE.

Paraprofessional
The Mid-Buchanan R-V School District is currently accepting applications for a full time Paraprofessional. Applicants will assist a certified teacher in planning and implementing instructional practices with individual children or small groups; maintain a safe and supportive instructional environment, monitor and report student progress, and communicate and collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure students obtain quality instruction in a nurturing environment. As well as other duties as assigned by building administration. This position works Monday-Friday, 7:25am - 3:10pm. Applicants must have 60 college hours or pass the para pro praxis to be eligible for the position. Licensed Clinical Social Worker
The Mid-Buchanan R-V School District is accepting applications for a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker in an effort to continue offering students and staff a comprehensive social emotional health program that meets the individual needs of anyone needing this support. Appropriate licensing must be secured prior to the start of employment. The position is a 10-month position beginning in August of 2024. Salary will be commensurate to experience. The position will also include full benefits.
