Mid Buchanan hosted a Special Olympic Flag Football Event this morning. Thanks to our High School students that hosted and assisted our athletes today!
Today’s third-grade learning journey was about subtraction with base ten blocks, and our students absolutely crushed it!
From using base ten blocks to breaking down complex problems with the standard algorithm, our students are making incredible strides in their math skills.
Through hands-on practice, they’re not just solving equations; they’re understanding the ‘why’ behind the math! 🤔✏️

The month of September is nationally recognized as Suicide Prevention Month. To proactively address the issue of teen depression and suicide, the Mid-Buchanan RV School District will be implementing an evidence-based program called the Signs of Suicide Prevention Program, among other prevention resources, for students in grades 6-12. Our implementation of the SOS program will begin on September 19, 2023.

This year's Grandparents Day (GRAND EVENT) is on Saturday, September 9th from 9-11am AND Wednesday, September 13th from 5-6pm. The activities will be the same both days. The event will be held in the MPR.

Our sixth grade students took on an exciting challenge! They worked in teams to solve a puzzle with 4 pieces, demonstrating their problem-solving skills.
In a twist of excitement, they were given a 5th piece, and tasked with figuring out how it fits into the puzzle they had already completed. 🤔🧩 This activity mirrors what happens in the world of science when researchers receive new data and need to reevaluate their hypotheses and conclusions.
