🎨🏃♂️ Huge shoutout to one of our talented 6th grade students for designing this year’s Summer Send Off (Field Day) shirt!
We are so proud of Caelyn Blanton! During art class, the Sixth grade students were challenged to come up with a Tshirt design to celebrate the creativity, school spirit, and hard work that represents the energy and excitement of Summer Send Off for our entire school community. Teachers voted on their favorite design to represent on our Summer Send Off, and thanks to our generous PTO and elementary fundraising efforts, we have purchased a shirt for ALL Kindergarten through Sixth grade students! On Monday, May 18, we can't wait to see all of our students showing off Caelyn's creative design! (**These will be sent home on Friday, May 15! Be on the lookout!)

Students who will receive awards were given invitations at school today. The letter has a typo that says awards night begins at 6pm, but it will begin at 5pm. Join us to honor the hard work of our students on Friday at 5pm.
Senior signing is tomorrow, Friday, May 8 at 2:30pm. Parents are welcome to attend, but if you aren't able to be here you can use the live stream link to watch!

Congratulations to Adi and Maddox on being named KCI Scholar Athletes on Sunday!
To earn this honor Junior and Senior students have to meet rigorous academic and testing standards in addition to lettering in two varsity MSHSAA sports and being a good citizen.
(This is Adi's 2nd time earning this honor!)

Baseball Schedule Update:
Baseball will now be playing vs. Lincoln College Prep today. The game will be played at the Urban Youth Academy in Kansas City. It will be varsity only starting at 4:00pm.
The game on 5/12 vs. Braymer has also been cancelled.
