Our talented sixth-grade students wrapped up their area, surface area, and volume unit in the sweetest way possible – by constructing gingerbread houses! Before diving into the world of icing and candy, these young architects first created detailed scale drawings. From sketching on paper to bringing their edible creations to life, these students applied their newfound knowledge of dimensions and measurements. The result? A village of unique and intricately designed gingerbread houses! Awesome job sixth grade!
