The month of September is nationally recognized as Suicide Prevention Month. To proactively address the issue of teen depression and suicide, the Mid-Buchanan RV School District will be implementing an evidence-based program called the Signs of Suicide Prevention Program, among other prevention resources, for students in grades 6-12. Our implementation of the SOS program will begin on September 8, 2025.

The first football game of the season is tomorrow, August 28th, against Plattsburg! This will also be Fall Senior Night. Senior Night will begin at 6:30 and kickoff is at 7:00. Come support the Dragons!

Join us tomorrow, August 22nd, at West Platte for the Football Jamboree! Start time is 6:00 PM. West Platte will be accepting donations of Gatorade as an entry fee to support the West Platte Quarterback Club. See you there!
We did it! We welcomed so many smiling faces (along with some parents!) to start our 2025-26 school year. We have witnessed some amazing things going on in each classroom already!
A few pick up reminders:
We will dismiss at 12:00. For parent pick up, please watch for directions from staff members on where to turn and when to pull forward. It's a new year! Help us learn your cars and names by rolling the window down for us to ask. Remain IN YOUR VEHICLE. We will open the door and help the little ones in. Please pull forward and off to the side to buckle them in, if needed. This helps keep the line moving. We know many will be parent pick up, so we thank you in advance for your patience!
