This week, we celebrate the true heros of education ~ The Teachers. Day in and day out they give our students their all. From prep work and planning, to grading and caring, all while juggling the daily things that students bring with them. they truly provide our students with all they could ever ask for. Their unwavering dedication is something to be admired.

Mrs. Zabel and Dylan Eaton (MB Senior) gave 6th graders tours of the middle school and high school this week! Students are very excited about becoming 7th graders in the fall. Before summer, they will also be part of a Q&A session with current middle school students to help prepare for their big move! #BeADragon #DragonsGrow

Another round of appreciation is due! Thank you to those that get our students to and from school safely every day, as well as the countless hours on field trips and after hours events. We are thrilled to announce that Mary Kelly, Mid-Buchanan R-V Elementary School Librarian, was named a finalist for the Missouri Association of School Librarians (MASL) Librarian of the Year!
This prestigious honor began with nominations across Missouri’s 11 regions. After being named the top representative for our area, Mary advanced as one of only four finalists presented to the MASL Executive Council.

We are excited to share information with you about your student’s Individual Career and Academic Plan (ICAP). The ICAP is a personalized planning process designed to help students explore their interests, identify career goals, and map out the steps needed to achieve success after high school.
Through the ICAP process, your student will:
Explore career interests and strengths
Set personal and academic goals
Develop a plan for high school courses aligned with future aspirations
Learn about postsecondary options, including college, technical training, and careers
Our goal is to ensure that every student has a meaningful plan that prepares them for success in college, career, and life.
You can support your student by:
Talking with them about their interests and goals
Reviewing their course selections and plans
Encouraging them to take advantage of career exploration opportunities
We encourage you to stay involved in your student’s ICAP journey. Your student's ICAP can be viewed on Missouri Connections. Students can log into their Clever accounts to access this portal. If you have any questions or would like to learn more, please feel free to contact our school.

Our athletes gave it their all, worked hard, and most importantly, enjoyed a fun-filled morning of activities, teamwork, and smiles. We are so proud of each and every one of them for representing our school with such enthusiasm and heart!
